And so it begins...

A little about me; I am a professional Highland dancer and instructor, I have a day job but dance is my true passion. I am in my mid-twenties and have recently gotten married to the love of my life. I am a Montrealer through and through, I love everything about this city and even if I have to leave one day (hubby is a musician), Montreal will always be my home.

Having just gotten married I've bee at a loss with what to do with all my newly-found free time. What? You mean I don't have to spend all day cutting tiny little cirlces to make pom-poms for the aisle? I don't have to slice 100 corks for name-card holders? I don't even have to sew my own table runners anymore?!?

Don't get me wrong, I loved planning my wedding, every single moment of it actually, but as we were on a tight budget it was a DIY event right down to the very last detail. The outcome was a truly personal, creative and amazing day filled with family and friends and of course, the man I love. Now that I'm no longer knee-deep in fabric and I have reclaimed the corner of my house lovingly referred to by my then-fiancé as wedding-central I've decided to start this blog.

I've yet to decide the direction of this blog; fashion? food? dance? music? all of the above? Basically it's a place for me to share my likes and dislikes, hash out some ideas on "paper" and have a little creative outlet.  Hope you enjoy!
